Answer why this job is in the organization; why this job exists (2 or 3 sentences maximum) Ensuring that within the associates work area of responsibility the production plan is achieved in terms of customer service and cost and that standards are maintained or exceeded in the areas of quality, safety, efficiency hygiene and environment. In addition associates are expected every day to find and implement ways to solve problems and improve the performance of their work area of responsibility in the areas of customer service, cost, quality, safety, hygiene and environment, Please list the most important and relevant responsibilities * Adhere all safety protocols and Guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members. * Make Accurate record of Production, Quality , Safety and history cards * Ensure compliance of all CCP's, OPRP, PRP and good documentation practices. * Perform Autonomous maintenance and inspection on equipment to prevent breakdowns and minor stoppages(CIL,5S,CL, Abnormality) * Maintaining the Toolbox check list and training to contractors. * Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal operation. * Operate FFS machine efficiently and safely according to standard operating procedure * Have hands on experience of FFS machines, carton erector, Packing machines, Date coding, check weigher etc. * Should have sound knowledge in GMP and GHP, housekeeping and hygienic working condition. * Collaborate with other team members and Stakeholders * Implementation of Process improvement Initiatives. Provide feedback and suggestions for improvements. * Adhere to all safety protocols and procedure to ensure a safe working environment. * Hands on Experience in MS office /Excel etc. * These items are an integral part of every associate's job and judgments about performance and potential should be made only after reference to them. Associates should judge themselves against these standards and should seek at the earliest opportunity to clarify what specific figures they should be targeting for all the general areas below. Associates who adhere to these criteria will meet the standard expected. 1. Behavioral * Follow the Associate Concept * Behave and act in accordance with the Five Principles 2. Output * Be aware of and run to Schedule. * Run machines to SOC or beyond at all times. Be familiar with all SOCs. * Rectify and/or escalate issues, which prevent achievement of SOCs and/or Schedule. Log all such occurrences accurately and fully. * Ensure changeovers are completed within specified time to the right standard in accordance with Operating Procedures where these are available. 3. Costs * Operate plant to minimize product and packaging wastage. * Know the target standards for the machines you are operating. * Fix or immediately escalates issues or faults that are causing excess waste. Record all incidences in Logbooks or on systems provided. 4. Quality * Understand fully the quality measurement system. Complete logs accurately and consistently without fail. * Ensure all activities that demonstrate due diligence are carried out and documentation is completed * Escalate any issues 5. Hygiene * Maintain personal hygiene and dress standards at all times. Challenge anyone not adhering to these. * Maintain departmental and work area hygiene standards. Challenge anyone breaching these. * Complete hygiene tasks as directed and record completion in appropriate place Context and Scope Complete how the job gets done and the way it operates 6. Safety * Ensure behavior at work complies with Safety Policy * Ensure validation in SSWs are kept in date * Escalate safety issues appropriately 7. General * Communicate effectively issues and exceptions to other shifts, technicians, R&D etc in logbooks as well as verbally. * Take responsibility for issues and exceptions, ensure they are 'closed out' and that the root cause is identified and rectified (problem solving). * Become familiar with the factory operating plan, understand where we are in relation to all targets, and take personal responsibility to play a part in its delivery. * Take responsibility for your own development and skills acquisition. * Work flexibly with the other associates in your work group. Seek work when you have spare time. Every day find ways to improve ways of working and your work area and equipment. Contribute to small group improvement activities (Kaizan/Hoshin/Continuous Improvement) * Monitor and log you performance in all the groups above to form a basis for discussion at your next appraisal. * Be proud of what we are achieving and act like it.
