Java developer Eng 3 Chennai

Experience: Minimum 5+ years experience in relevant area

Education: Computer Science or equivalent degree

Responsibilities

- Interfaces with Squad team members and product owner located in US

- Develop the Java based service as per requirements

- Participate in the design meeting and provide feedback 

- Deploy the code to non prod & prod environments, provide triage support on issues related to code.

- Proactive monitoring of services and provide triage support as needed

- Knowledge and willingness to embrace DevOps culture

- Documents the as is design, identifies reusable components, adheres to coding standards being followed by the team

- Tracks and documents requirements for development projects, features and enhancements

Required skills

- Experience in Core Java, Data Structures, Spring boot, Junits, Multi- threading, Concurrency, REST API, JWT

- Familiarity with Java Coding Standards, microservice architectures, design patterns, containerization, distributed cache and monitoring tools

- Experience in working with Agile/Scrum & source control system (git)

- Experience with relational database technologies, both traditional and NoSQL

- Basic Knowledge in AWS Cloud

- Strong knowledge on DevOps, Continuous Integration & Deployment tools (Jenkins)
