Prime Responsibilities of the job

2-5 years of experience; B.E

or B Tech in Chemical

Engineering;

M.Sc,/ Ph.D Inorganic

chemistry

1.New Product/Process development for in house manufactured product

2. Should have good Knowledge of Chemistry and capable to scale up the products.

3. Should have good knowledge in plant distillation, batch/unit operations.

4. Must have experience in handling various types of reactions for multi-step synthesis, purification &

Characterization of new molecules/API's.

5. Must have knowledge of purification of Solvent and different purification techniques

6. Setting up laboratory equipment and conducting tests and experiments

7. Work as team in Laboratory

8. Keeping up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments records

9. Sound knowledge of ISO 9001, Lean and Six Sigma is a plus

10. Experience in handling pilot scale batches

11. Knowledge of conducting process validation, Sop preparation and audit documents

12. Development of new product and scale up of products manufactured in another site of Merck

13. Must have experience in handling various types of reactions for multi-step synthesis, purification &
