Roles & responsibilities
• Be a part of the team that is responsible for responsible for providing clients (partners and professionals) with guidance on personal independence requirements as it relates to their financial relationships
• Assist in maintaining Independence in accordance with professional standard and firm policies
• To support the personal independence compliance monitoring activities, including proactive outreach to mitigate field professional’s non-compliance to firm policies and regulatory requirements
• Perform research, analyze data, make rule-based decisions and determinations, and document the work performed and results to support conclusions
• Use tools and techniques to perform Independence related checks for performing compliance monitoring activities
• Ensure the work is performed with high quality and completed within agreed turnaround time and communicate work product status effectively to all stakeholders
• Escalate immediately, any issues identified to the GDC Seniors, Managers and Onshore teams so that the quality and turnaround time are not impacted
• Provide clarifications, train and mentor junior associates on a timely basis on Independence related matters and concepts
• Perform upfront reviews wherever required for deliverables and as advised by the team lead
• Actively get involved on business and Independence specific knowledge development initiatives at GDC
• Understand and capture comments during quality review and from onshore teams to provide feedback to junior associates
Mandatory technical & functional skills
• Advanced knowledge of Independence rules and regulations
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including
• Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Educational qualifications
•Post-Graduation from an accredited college or university (MBA/M. Com)
Work experience
• 2-4 Years of work experience
