Senior analyst

The Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between our business needs and software development initiatives. In this critical role, you will leverage your deep understanding of software development lifecycles and strong project management skills to lead and oversee the successful delivery of complex software projects. You will partner with stakeholders across the organization to gather and analyze requirements, translate them into actionable plans, and ensure projects stay on track, within budget, and meet business objectives.

Responsibilities:

·       Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and desired functionalities for software solutions.

·       Conduct thorough requirements gathering sessions, including user interviews, workshops, and data analysis.

·       Document requirements clearly, concisely, and accurately using industry-standard methodologies (e.g., user stories, use cases).

·       Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets using project management tools (e.g., Agile frameworks, MS Project).

·       Manage project scope and ensure alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.

·       Facilitate communication and collaboration between business stakeholders, development teams, and other departments.

·       Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.

·       Track project deliverables, budget, and timelines, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.

·       Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure successful project completion and launch.

·       Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to optimize software development lifecycles.

·       Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies in business analysis and project management.

Qualifications:

·       8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a proven track record of success in managing software development projects.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements.

·       Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

·       Proven project management skills, including experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) a plus.

·       Experience with business analysis methodologies (e.g., BABOK Guide).

·       Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).

·       Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC).

·       Experience with user story development and user acceptance testing (UAT).

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
