Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, system architects and IT teams to understand requirements and implement solutions that enrich the platform and enhance the user experience

  • Collaborates with project partners to identify product and technical requirements. Conducts analysis to settle integration needs.

  • Design solutions on ServiceNow platform through Workflow, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Orchestration, Mid Servers, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, ACLs, SLAs, Registry Events, Scheduled Jobs etc.

  • Engage and support business services and ensure adherence to technology standards across capability delivery teams including service providers

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver ServiceNow solutions, troubleshooting and resolving issues/ incidents

  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood and backlog items are prioritized and partner with Developers to design and implement the solutions

  • Demonstrate a flexible and adaptive approach to accommodate changing requirements.

  • Must be self-directed with proven ability to make mature decisions supported by thorough data and process analysis.

  • Displays in-depth knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills, and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with large scale, enterprise ITSM implementations

  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with portal development, including creation of custom web components in Service

  • Portal [CSS, Angular JS, node.JS, Bootstrap]

  • Experience designing, developing, implementing business applications in ITIL, CMDB, Service

  • Catalog, SDLC, Change Management, and Incident Management

  • ITIL v3 certification

  • Ability to understand product/customer needs and convert into experiences within Agent

  • Workspace, leveraging the full suite of workspace capabilities

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer


Job Specification:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

  • 8+ years overall work experience

  • 6 -7+ years experience with ServiceNow, developing core ITSM modules including Incident,

  • Problem, Change, CMDB, Asset, Notify, Asset Management, Service Portal, Agent Workspace

  • ServiceNow Admin Certification

  • ServiceNow Developer and/or Architect certifications is strong plus

  • Expertise with workflows, flow designer, catalog items, Business Rules, Inbound email actions,

  • script includes

  • Experience with web service integrations (REST, SOAP), Mid Server configuration

  • Strong working knowledge with the following technologies / products / methodologies:

  • ServiceNow, Java, Spring, CI/CD, Javascript, Jquery, AJAX, RESTful services that run on-

  • premise and, in the cloud

  • Appitude to deploy automated testing and quality assurance practices: Unit Testing, Integration

  • Testing, End-to-End Functional Testing

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated technical leadership

  • Experience or knowledge with AWS Cloud, and Graph database are a plus
