Sr Specialist Data Analysis (Snowflake, SQL, Unix)

Mandate:- Datawarehouse, ETL, SQL, Snowflake, Unix/LInux

Role & Responsibilities:

Experience with Snowflake, Hadoop and fluent with SQL, Postgres SQL, Vertica, Mongo DB and data analysis techniques.

Snowflake Certification would be an added advantage.

Extensive experience in ETL, shell or python scripting, data modelling, analysis, and preparation

Experience in Unix/Linux system, files systems, shell scripting.

Strong Experience in Python and well-versed in Data analytical frameworks, Data Modelling (Structured).

Strong Performance tuning skills – Query level tuning / DB tuning / Memory level tuning.

Expert knowledge of RDBMS, RAC, Backup & Recovery etc.

Strong DBA skills and relevant working experience.

Knowledge on DB Security viz. AVDF, DB Vault, Key Vault, e-Wallet, TDE would be added advantage.

Good to have knowledge on any cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Snowflake, etc.

Good to have experience in BI Reporting tools – Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities:-

• Analyzing data in response to new business requests, performing maintenance and changes on interfaces, and identifying and resolving data discrepancies.

• Support data selection, extraction, and cleansing for corporate applications, including data warehouse and data marts.

• Employing data mining techniques to achieve data synchronization, redundancy elimination, source identification, data reconciliation, and problem root cause analysis.

Education:

Preferred Bachelors degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, or Sciences; Data Analytics or Business Analyst nanodegree; or equivalent experience.
