Supply Chain Analyst

Purpose: Responsible for studying – structuring - analyzing data and preparing structured reports /

information for management review. Prepare base report structures, help automate data computing

opportunities to improve productivity – support reports processing for Demand Planning, Service, S&OP

processes. Identify improvements to the reports / productivity.

Responsibilities: The analytical framework should include

 Provide insights to answer key Supply Chain business questions and anticipate

opportunities based on analytical, data, and business knowledge.

 Reporting ownership of monthly performance for company KPI/ metrics – Balanced

Scorecard.

Responsible for providing insights and analytics from reports and business needs in

support of the Supply Chain.

 Deliver internal continuous improvement projects, with a focus on automation to churn

out report faster, and driving operational improvements

 Participate & contribute in discussions in various company performance meetings and

be prepared to present results at all levels of the organization.

 Analyse historical to identify trends, variances and benchmarks, and communicate

findings to key stakeholders

 Provide weekly reports to the Supply Chain team on areas of opportunity for contracting

 Create reports and maintains management reports as directed by the Regional / global or

country leaders.

 Promotes alignment by understanding and communicating customer needs and

requirements throughout the organization

 Support ad hoc Supply Chain data analysis requests on an as-needed basis.

 Participate in cross-functional teams to implement corporate supply chain strategy. Will

support additional business needs regarding reporting and analytics of the company as

needed. i.e. High level Corporate Strategic analysis initiatives: providing data, and

insight leveraging experience and knowledge of Supply Chain and Logistics, to provide

direction and data to other teams.

 Understand the supply functionality and business impact of reporting and ultimately

uses data to drive results.

Domain Knowledge :

 Strong “hands-on” with MS Office related skills – esp Excel & power-point.

 Excellent communication skills (written + spoken)

 Supply chain knowledge/experience is must

Self Development:

 Keep up to date on relevant skills wrt data analysis / analytics.

 Continue to progress understanding and application of Process Excellence tools

Knowledge and Skills:

 Analytical capabilities (SAS/MiniTab/Statistical packages). Able to relate data to business

situation (Tableau, Microsoft visuals)

 Knowledge of Tableau (hands-on) experience . Additional knowledge of Qlikview, Alytryx,

JD for Analyst 1

Machine Learning would be added advantages.

 Proficient in MS-Office. Hands - on with advanced MS-Excel, knowledge of macros /

VBA, Data Lake SQL, is a plus.

 Preferable Experience in SAP (or current equivalent integrated Global ERP/ supply chain

planning system).

 Result-oriented and ability to follow through on committed tasks; bring structure to abstract

concepts.

 Ability to work in teams with varied functional/technical knowledge

 High degree of self-management, drive and self-motivation personal organization skills

 Education: Graduate,

 Professional Experience: - 1-3 years business experience
