Role Type:

- Manage a team of 15-20 professionals.

- 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM



Roles & Responsibilities:



The Manager should have prior experience in the audit attestation domain with proven expertise in audit service delivery. Essential skills include team and people management, as well as the ability to manage stakeholder relationships.



Key Responsibilities:



Audit Service Delivery:


- Develop deep technical expertise in audit areas.  


- Manage multiple audit engagements while maintaining high-quality standards.  


- Build industry-specific knowledge and capabilities within the GDC teams.  


- Demonstrate working knowledge of Audit methodologies and tools.  


- Review work prepared by associates and seniors.  


- Identify opportunities to standardize and optimize audit processes across engagements and industries.  


- Exhibit professionalism, industry competence, and clear communication with the Engagement Team (ET).  


- Participate in and facilitate audit conceptual training to ensure team development.



People Management:


- Develop and assist in training professionals, creating an environment conducive to learning.  


- Monitor and supervise team members' progress, providing performance feedback as needed.  


- Serve as a performance manager, mentoring and coaching professionals on career advancement and development areas.  


- Promote the GDC Culture within the team, encouraging collaboration among a diverse group of professionals.  


- Actively participate in training programs and recruitment drives.  


- Enhance operational effectiveness by optimizing people utilization and driving efficiencies.



This Role is for You If You Have the Following:



Educational Qualifications:


- Qualified CA/US CPA/ACCA with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting (first division, 60%).



Work Experience: 

- 6-9 years of post-qualification experience with strong Articleship experience from a reputable audit firm for CAs, or  


- At least 5 years of relevant audit experience with certifications other than CA.  


- Experience with Big 4/leading audit firms or their shared service centers is preferred.  


- Experience in the US Industrial Market (Oil & Gas, Auto & Aero, ENRC, Industrial Manufacturing) industry is a plus.



Mandatory Technical & Functional Skills:


- Knowledge of US GAAP and international auditing standards.  


- Strong project management, leadership, coaching, and people management skills.  


- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).  


- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
