Expert IT strategy
Job Summary:
The Expert in Strategy, for IT-Enabling Functions, will play a pivotal role in shaping, implementing and
supporting strategic initiatives, working in close collaboration with department leadership, project
leads, and other stakeholders. This role will report to the Head of Strategy & Transformation –
Enabling Functions, Data, Digital& IT and requires a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills,
and an understanding of technology strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning & Analysis:
Support development and implementation of strategic initiatives and
technology roadmaps aligned with organizational goals.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and act as a liaison between the leadership team
and various departments.
Drive the development of comprehensive strategic plans and roadmaps,
outlining key initiatives, milestones, and performance metrics to measure
the success of the IT-EF strategy.
2. Business Partnering & Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as a support to strategic partner to business units, providing insights
and recommendations to support decision-making.
Cultivate strong business partnerships and engage with key stakeholders to
understand their needs, gather feedback, and ensure that strategic
initiatives are aligned with business objectives.
Develop and maintain effective communication channels with internal and
external stakeholders to promote transparency, gather insights, and foster
collaboration in support of strategic goals.
3. Content Creation:
Conduct ad hoc analyses and create executive-ready content, including
articles, reports, presentations, and other materials to support leaders'
decision-making.
Tailor content to different communication channels and platforms, ensuring
relevance and engagement.
Utilize proficiency in the German language to effectively communicate with
German-speaking stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
Proven experience in strategic planning, business analysis, management consulting and
program management, ideally in a technology consulting role.
Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
Project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional
teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and
persuasive messages.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
effectively.
Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in the German language is preferable.
