Network Security Operation Engineer
Main Responsibilities
Operational management of company’s infrastructure devices (e.g., Firewalls, IPS, WAF)
for Network Security, in line with expected corporate service levels. Some non-exhaustive
examples of this operational management include:
o Responsibility for cabling, VLANs, routing, and firewall rules.
o Application of network security policies, standards, and best practices based on
corporate/group Cybersecurity requirements.
Design and implementation of network security technologies aligned with the
Cybersecurity function, business strategies, and Group/Corporate strategies.
Effective coordination and cooperation with the IT Service Desk to facilitate the resolution
of cross-domain incidents/requests.
Effectively collaboration with colleagues, internal stakeholders - both al local and
group/corporate level - for BAU activities and to identify, implement continuous
improvement opportunities.
Requirements
Passion and enthusiasm for work, curiosity, a strong inclination toward continuous
learning, especially in the technological field, with sensitivity to Cyber Security aspects.
Good interpersonal skills, a strong team spirit, and a willingness to share professional
knowledge with colleagues for group growth.
Availability for on-call duty.
Degree in scientific/technological subjects (e.g., Computer Science / Telecommunications
Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, etc.).
Solid proven knowledge of industry standards and leading technologies within the
reference sector (e.g., Palo Alto firewall, Checkpoint, WAF, IPS, etc.).
