Oracle Fusion Middleware Admin

Job Description:

• Need to have good experience in WebLogic administration on Linux, HP-UX, AIX, and Sun Solaris environments

• OS level admin commands usage and familiarity

• Checking firewall/open file/port closure/open issues with respect to WebLogic server troubleshooting

• Extensive experience in WebLogic and Oracle Middleware components installation, configuration, tuning, and application deployment.

• Expert in configuring WebLogic standalone or clustered domain

• Very good in patching of WebLogic server 11g/12c/14c.

• Experience in creating JDBC Data sources all types, Security realms, External LDAP integration, SSL implementation

• JDBC Connection pool tuning

• Hands on experience on creating JMS resources (Persistent store, Sub deployment, Modules, Queues, QCF, UDQs, Topics, Distributed topics etc..

• Experienced in implementing file store and JDBC store

• Experience with Node manager configuration and troubleshooting issues

• Experience with high-availability architecture And Disaster Recovery

• Experienced on building Disaster recovery setup and performing DR switchover/failover test

• Experience on Deploying Java, J2EE Applications on WebLogic cluster 

• Familiar with scripting and automation using Shell Script, Perl and python programs

• Good experience in working with Infrastructure teams (Servers, Network, firewalls, Load-Balancer) support and collaboration with them.

• Must have knowledge of advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques, solid analytical skills, experience in system administration/configuration, refresh/upgrade projects and enhancements

• Experience in analyzing and fine-tuning server parameters (JVM Size, Thread pool size, Garbage Collection Process etc.) for performance improvement

• Experienced in GC tuning

• Expertise with Oracle HTTP Server and Apache Webserver installation in standalone and clustered environment and integrating with WebLogic cluster

• SSL implementation knowledge on Apache/OHS/WebLogic server

• Taking Heap dump and tread dump and analyzing them

• RCU Creation

• SOA/BIP/OBIEE/OSB - installation, configuration, and troubleshooting

• SOA composite deployment

• Experience with various type of data sources creation and troubleshooting underlying issues

• Very good in troubleshooting application performance issues by analyzing various parameters at OS, DB, Web and Middleware tier

• Good understanding of OS and network commands

• Experienced in scheduling crontab

Good to have skills but not mandatory:

• Experience in DevOps tools such as Ansible, containers, Kubernetes and OpenShift architecture and administration is an added advantage

• Understanding on DevOps process and Cloud platform such as OCI, AWS is an added advantage 

• Experience in Ansible and Jenkins is an added advantage

• Database knowledge is added advantage

• YML, Groovy and python scripting/coding
