Senior specialist technical content
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
· Maintain and optimize technical content inventories including technical articles, collateral, and landing pages.
· Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to gather and verify technical information.
· Ensure technical content is accurate, clear, and accessible to the target audience and internal partners.
· Maintain consistency in tone, style, and branding across all technical content.
· Support transition of technical content to digitally optimized formats to improve our customer’s online experience
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Review and edit technical content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to company guidelines and industry standards. Ensure content is easily understood by the target audience.
· On a regularly established cadence, interface with product managers, content producers, and other subject matter experts to verify continued relevance of technical information and identify gaps/needs.
· Use SEO best practices to optimize technical content for search engines and improve online visibility.
· Streamline technical content management tools and systems for efficient access and administrative use within our content practices.
· Catalog and tag documentation and technical content for easier retrieval within tools such as SFDC and other content management toolsets (by product, segment, application, customer stage, and more).
· Expand inventory of technical content by identifying underutilized collateral, or documents and materials unknown to marketing, for use within digital tactics.
· Support the creation of Technical Article Pages (TAPs) by transferring content to template forms and prepare supporting information for submission through the web ticket process.
· Oversee the trafficking of TAPs and other technical content through the Jira ticketing process by submitting tickets, monitoring progress, coordinating feedback loop sessions with Marcom partners, SMEs and more.
· Participate in the Web Content Audit process with attention on Technical Article Pages and documentation. Help identify underperforming articles and drive optimization to improve metrics.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Who you are:
Education: Master’s Degree in Life Sciences
Experience: 5-8 Years of experience in scientific content writing or related field
Technical Skills / Competencies:
· Understanding of SEO best practices and experience in optimizing content for search engines. SEO Certification (Google, Moz, etc.)-Desirable
· Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and engaging content.
· Excellent writing, drafting, reviewing, and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
· Exceptional organizational skills and ability to conceptualize operational best practices.
· Manages multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality technical content.
· Qualified background and experience analyzing an immense amount of data, deriving insights and taking actions to improve.
· Professionally trained in Excel (or similar tools to manage data)
Preferred Certification:
· Content Marketing Certification (HubSpot, Content Marketing Institute, etc.) - preferred
· SEO Certification (Google, Moz, etc.) – preferred.
