The ServiceNow Developer will play a crucial role in our ServiceNow implementation and

maintenance projects. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and

maintaining ServiceNow along with ensuring the stability and reliability of our ServiceNow

platform. The role will require collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to

deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.

1. Understanding the Business logic:

The business logic should be clear as per the requirements and enhancements.

Understanding the logic in align to Developed code and complex implementations.

Facilitating scrum events (daily stand-ups, other meetings) as needed.

2. Good knowledge about ServiceNow platform:

Having good knowledge about the ServiceNow platform along with ServicePortal and

integrations

3. Good Knowledge about Agile Methodology:

One should understand agile process and various ceremonies conducted in Agile

process.

Knowledge about different workflows in accordance with the environments.

Roles and Responsibilities.

• ServiceNow Development: Strong development skills for ServiceNow applications,

modules, and customizations.

• Service Portal: Hands-on experience on ServiceNow portal development and

customisations along with Collaborate with functional and technical teams to design

comprehensive portal, ensuring full coverage of ServiceNow features and functionalities.

• Integrations: Hands-on experience on complex third party integrations (both web

services and plugin based) with ServiceNow platform

• CMDB and Asset Management Knowledge: Strong understanding of CMDB and

C2 General

Asset concepts

• Continuous Improvement: Continuously enhance and optimize ServiceNow platform

with best practices to improve efficiency, coverage, and effectiveness of processes.

• Documentation: Create and maintain design documentation related to development

results for future reference and compliance.

• Collaboration: Collaborate with ServiceNow developers, administrators, and business

analysts to ensure a seamless testing process and facilitate communication between

technical and non-technical teams.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure that ServiceNow configurations and customizations

adhere to best practices, standards, and security protocols.

• Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide training and knowledge sharing sessions to

team members on ATF scripting and testing best practices.

• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest developments in ServiceNow, integrations,

and automation technologies to recommend and implement improvements in testing

methodologies..

Qualifications (Must):

 Minimum 7 years of experience as a

ServiceNow Developer/Administrator

 Advanced Knowledge of ServiceNow

complex Integrations

development lifecycle

 Good knowledge about different

SCDL

 Critical thinker and problem-solving

skills

 Experience of leading a team will be

an advantage

Qualifications (Preferred):

 ServiceNow CSA certified

 Micro certification – Service Portal
