Sr Specialist Software Engineering - DevSecOps

We are seeking a dedicated Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the quality, security, builds, configuration, and deployments of our web-based applications. The engineer will be responsible for key aspects of the software development lifecycle: design and security, testing methodologies and platforms, configuration and deployment, maintenance and patching support. A key aspect of this role involves conducting readiness reviews before products launches, and post launches, to ensure software scales, meets uptime and performance metrics, and remains secure and cost-effective. Our ideal candidate will possess a background in software development, quality assurance, configuration management, and production operations, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

Core Responsibilities:Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured security and operational plans and documentationReview requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedbackEstimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate deployment and configuration processes and activitiesDesign, develop, and execute configuration and deployment scriptsIdentify, record, document thoroughly and track maintenance issuesPerform thorough reviews when development and configuration issues are resolvedWork with the US-based leadership to develop, operational, and security processes, for new and existing products, to meet client needs and maintain high security postures and operational metricsCoordinate with stakeholders and identify system requirementsMonitor system performance and healthInvestigate the causes of non-conforming software and implement solutionsTrack and improve operational metrics: CPU, disk, req/s, peak loads, memory, EOL software, CVEsStay up to date with new configuration and deployment technologies
