  1. Experience in real time operations and maintenance of solutions on any of the API Management Platform – e.g. Apigee, 3scale, Layer 7, Mashery, Axway, WS02, Mulesoft or equivalent

  2. Automation of deployments across datacentre with Terraform,  Puppet, Jenkins, Ansible

  3. Deep knowledge in developing tools with Python, Go, Perl or Bash and Splunk

  4. Excellent knowledge of Unix/Linux, SQL/noSQL, Apache, Tomcat

  5. Understanding of infrastructure as code methodology

  6. Exposure to work in DevOps or Agile (Scrum) delivery teams 

  7. Experience in configuration management processes and working experience on GIT and SVN

  8. Excellent experience in Log Analysis, Analytical Troubleshooting and Innovation

  9. Good communication skills and capacity to learn and work independently

  10. Knowledge of regular expressions and SSL setups

  11. Deep knowledge on TCP IP networks, routing and firewalling to support troubleshooting when needed

  12. Exposure to cloud, preferred AWS

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and improvement of infrastructure (continuous integration, build, test systems, containers)

  • Support the development team in tasks that require work and expertise both in development and operations, such as many scalability/security-related tasks

  • To support and operate the Vodafone service and underlying components

  • To define setup up adequate monitoring and probing according to KPI definition as to measure service availability, performance and ensure the associated SLAs

  • Manage incident troubleshooting and resolution and liaise with the project ream for problem resolution

  • Setup Continuous Delivery toolset and procedures (build server, automated depl.., configuration mgmt)

  • Design infrastructure setups in private and public clouds

  • SPOC for Change Advisory Board and Change Management

  • 2nd level support according to support model definition; 24/7 oncall support according to support model definition

  • Mentor junior DevOps members in the team
