Job Title: Account Manager- Digital Sales-Industrial & Testing.

Job Location: Jigani, Bangalore

 

Role Description

  • Responsible for achieving assigned sales goals both primary & secondary for designated geography/Territory.

  •  Develop account plans and coordinate activities with appropriate internal stakeholders.

  • Analyze accounts and territory and identifies opportunities to accelerate revenue growth.

  •  Engage with customers and channel partners to build and maintain a long-lasting business relationship through digital/F2F connect.

  •  Manage the end-to-end sales process for assigned territory & accounts.

  • Resolve customers challenges/issues by having regular interaction with internal stake holders.

  • Proactively organize sales/marketing activities along with specialist, marketings teams and distribution partners (Digital /F2F) for assigned customers to build brand awareness.

  •  Maintain an in depth understanding of the competitive landscape within assigned accounts and territory.

  • Maintain & learn new technical product and scientific knowledge.

  • Maintain a cadence of account management activities including internal and customer facing business reviews.

  •  Input customer information and opportunities into the CRM system & take insights.

  • Maps regional and country relevant account sites, buyers, and contacts

  •  Develop and maintain a short and long-term opportunity growth /opportunity pipeline.

  • Leveraging digital tools to prospect, opportunity creation & improve sales conversion.

  • Submission of all prescribed reports (Daily Sales Report, Monthly and Quarterly MIS (TTM, Channel Partner Annexures, KOPL), etc) and updating of data on Lead Portal (SFDC), and Opportunity Funnel (SFDC,etc).

  • Awareness regarding competitor’s activities in the market and information in terms of pricing, schemes, systems/procedures etc

  • Hunt for new markets and customer base to grow business rapidly in assigned territory.

  • Work closely with cross functional teams to understand the business and align concerned collaborators in delivering the results.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in science.

  • MBA in Marketing would be an added advantage.

  • Proven experience of 1-5 years in selling Laboratory chemicals.

  • Track record of achievement in Sales, Marketing and Business Development roles.

  • Should have excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal and communication skills to communicate effectively with customers, and different levels of internal and external customers.

  • Should have experience in growing lab chemicals (chemistry & Biology) business rapidly.

  • Customer Connect/Visit: 75% Digitally connect and 25% Direct connect (Filed visit).

  • Must be result oriented, outspoken, and self – motivated.

  • Go Getter attitude, Organized to deliver results consistently.

  • Experience in selling chemistry & Biology products to different industries, testing labs, IVD Mfg. & applied.

  • Ability to handle distributors of all sizes.

  • Thorough knowledge of products which can be pitched to right customers.

  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills of the highest Caliber.

  • Must have professional selling and presentation skills to be able to influence key decision makers at customers.

  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve & exceed assigned targets monthly.
