Automation Testing ( Manager Level)

Role Purpose:

Deliver testing services within the IT Shared Service center (VSS INDIA) for the domains and / or countries in a Telecommunications environment ensuring platforms, services and components are tested to agreed milestones, cost and quality. Prepare test plans, test cases and test scripts as well as execute tests to the agreed standards, timelines and service levels. Ensure a common approach & standards are followed for testing. Capture lessons learnt and best practice to improve the test methodology and approach.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate proven experience of delivering software test automation solutions onshore and offshore in a multi-national global environment .

Senior expert in software test automation min. experience 6 years

Excellent knowledge in two programming languages Java / Javascript / Python / Visual Basic

Excellent knowledge of maintaining and developing test automation frameworks

Major knowledge on Selenium / Selenium Server / Selenium Grid

Experience in API testing using any HTTP client e.g. RestAssured

Essential:

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience and technical qualification.

Strong experience in Automation testing;

Experience in Selenium / Selenium Server / Selenium Grid

Good knowledge on Jenkins and/or Github actions

Excellent time Management, analytical and problem solving skills

Highly organized with impeccable attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent finisher with strong sense of urgency & effective time management skills

Ability for documentation & presentations

Education/Technical/Functional qualifications and/or Professional Certifications:

Essential

Any graduation/post-graduation in Computer Science/Information Technology area
