Sr Specialist Quality Assurance

Job Description: 

As an Automated Testing QA Engineer, you will be responsible for

developing and implementing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability

of our software products. You will work closely with our development and product teams

to create and execute comprehensive test plans, monitor automated job performance,

and enhance our testing processes. Your expertise in task management, shell scripting,

job monitoring, and automated testing tools such as SOAUI and Katalon will be

essential in delivering high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans to ensure the

  quality and reliability of software applications.

• Create and execute automated test scripts using SOAUI and Katalon to validate

  software functionality, performance, and security.

• Monitor automated test job performance and ensure timely execution of

  scheduled tests.

• Write and maintain shell scripts to automate repetitive tasks and streamline

  testing processes.

• Manage and prioritize tasks effectively to meet project deadlines and ensure

  timely delivery of high-quality software.

• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements

• and provide feedback on software design and functionality.

• Identify, document, and track defects and issues, and work with the development

• team to ensure timely resolution.

• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in automated

• testing and quality assurance.

• Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on

• automated testing.

• Proficiency in developing and executing automated test plans.

• Experience with SOAUI and Katalon for automated testing.

• Strong knowledge of shell scripting for automation and process optimization.

• Experience with job monitoring and performance analysis.

• Excellent task management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple

  tasks effectively.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-

  oriented environment.

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related

  field (or equivalent work experience).

  Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other automated testing tools and frameworks.

• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)

• pipelines.

• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Java.
